MSA Has Been At The Forefront Of AI in Education
Coming in Early 2025!
MSA will release its second RAIL endorsement. This one will be in “Essential Learning Experience with AI,” and it will enable schools to answer two critical questions: What does powerful learning look like at our school, and what is the role of AI in bringing that to life?
November 2024:
MSA hosted a RAIL design sprint at AISA’s Annual Conference.
October 2024:
MSA hosted a RAIL design sprint at NESA’s Fall Leadership Conference.
September 2024:
MSA hosted four in-person workshops on AI in Education for the Arlington Diocese for school technology leaders, classroom teachers, and school leaders.
August 2024:
First cohort completes RAIL endorsement - the first schools in the world to earn an endorsement in AI!
MSA announces pioneering partnership with Athena.
MSA releases a third “Forces at Play” report on the pace layer model that lies at the heart of RAIL.
RAIL Cohort 2 will begin their work.
The second endorsement in RAIL will be announcement focusing on two essential questions: “What does great learning look like at our school, and how can we use AI to bring it to life?”

November 2023: MSA hosted a live chat “AI and the Future—and Present—of Learning” with Amanda Bickerstaff, CEO of AI for Education, long-time EdTech executive, and former classroom teacher.

INTRODUCING STUDENTS TO SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP POWERED BY GEN AI
Fall 2023: Greensboro Day School upperclassmen participated in a 4-hour social entrepreneurship bootcamp called “ Expeditionaires” where they had to identity a social impact problem and try to derive a solution. They then presented to an auditorium of peers, faculty and a panel of entrepreneurs.
